CHAPS (UK) is following Government advice in the running of the Society’s business in relation to Coronavirus (COVID – 19).
As a result of the on-going situation that we face as a country we have taken steps in order to protect the future of our society.
The changes you will see moving forward are very minimal. Our admin office is open for processing but on a reduced hours basis. Applications are being accepted in the office but may take slightly longer to process than we normally quote. We recommend that any application posted to us is sent by signed for mail and that when sending a passport for updating/ over stamping that you copy all relevant pages of the passport to keep as a record, should you need this whilst the passport is away. We can now accept Cheques as a payment form but where possible, please make payments via BACS or PayPal, using horses name as a reference.
We will remain available via telephone, social media and email throughout this period however. Our telephone lines open between the hours of 10am – 4pm, Monday – Friday.
