1st Apri 2010: Joining fee of £6.60 now applies to ALL applications for 2010 memberships!!

Criteria on JMB certificates apply, i.e. when applying for a ridden CHAPS qualifier card or HOYS qualifier card, a copy of a JMB Height Certificate is required for all non-native exhibits 153cms or under and all Nat/Cob/Trad exhibits 148cms or under, with the exception of shetlands and miniatures.  This may be emailed to CHAPS Admin, where it can be linked to the PAYPAL membership application. 

New members are urged to take the time to browse this site to familiarise themselves with CHAPS(UK) - taking out a membership does NOT cover horse registration!  THE JOINING FEE IS IN ADDITION TO THE SUBSCRIPTION FEE (REFER TO FORM): MEMBERSHIPS WILL NOT BE ISSUED AGAINST RECEIPT OF JOINING FEE ONLY

Please give full details on the application form - and don't forget to give both christian and surname.  When making an application for a multiple membership (i.e. Adult & Child, Adult Couple, Family), please give all required names for membership cards to be issued.  Always give an email address in case we need to contact you regarding your application, and make sure that your inbox is regularly checked!

In accordance with our rules, no horse may be registered with CHAPS(UK) in the name of a junior - please do not cause embarrassment by asking for a qualifier card in the name of a junior.  Both owner and rider/handler must be showing members for qualifier cards to be issued, and the owner will by default always be an adult.

No qualifier card will be issued without full details of the horse being given as required - NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.
